What is VAANIGA

VAANIGA is the shortened word of VAANIGAM which is derived from Tamil language. ( வாணிகம் )

Originally vaanigam refers to the meaning as “Trade“.

Thiruvalluvar, commonly known as Valluvar, was a celebrated Tamil poet and philosopher. He is best known as the author of Thirukkuṛaḷ, a collection of couplets on ethics, political and economical matters, and love. The text is considered an exceptional and widely cherished work of the Tamil literature.

One of his couplet says this:

வாணிகம் செய்வார்க்கு வாணிகம் பேணிப் பிறவும் தமபோல் செயின்.

Which has meanings like:

The true merchandize of merchants is to guard and do by the things of others as they do by their own.”

As thriving trader is the trader known,
Who guards another’s interests as his own.

The key heading behind this couplet is “Impartiality”.

When practiced across different aspects of one’s journey success do follows that person.

VAANIGA“, the name behind this blogging portal was started or registered to promote impartial trading. However, it’s extended to other primary topics.
